Welcome to Vybely ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclosure, and safeguard your information when you use our web application.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: We collect your name, email address, and profile picture when you sign in via Google or other providers.
  • Usage Data: We collect information about your activity on our app, such as events you create and connections you make.
  • Google User Data (Calendar): With your explicit permission, we access your Google Calendar data.

3. Google User Data Policy Compliance

Vybely's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere toGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Use Your Calendar Data

We use the Google Calendar scope for events access (shown on the consent screen as "/auth/calendar.eventsView" or similar) to view and edit events on all calendars you have access to. We use it to:

  • Check your availability to prevent scheduling conflicts for Vybely events.
  • Add events you join or create in Vybely directly to your Google Calendar.

Storage & Sharing

We store the OAuth tokens securely. We do not use your Google Calendar data for advertising purposes. We do not transfer your Google user data to third parties for advertising. We only share data with other users (e.g., showing you are "Busy" at a certain time) to facilitate the app's scheduling features.

4. Data Protection & Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect sensitive data, including Google user data. These measures include secure transport (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, least-privilege permissions for systems and staff, and secure storage of OAuth tokens. Access to sensitive data is limited to authorized personnel and systems that require it to operate the service.

5. Retention & Deletion of Google User Data

We retain Google user data only as long as necessary to provide Vybely features (such as scheduling and calendar syncing). OAuth tokens and any related data are removed when you disconnect Google Calendar or delete your account. We also delete or anonymize Google user data when it is no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy.

6. How We Share Your Information

We share your information with:

  • Other Users: Your name, avatar, and shared event details are visible to people you connect with.
  • Service Providers: We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication.
